Oh my gosh! M, Book of Love, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Shriekback (Nemesis is the only song I know to use the word parthenogenesis, a mark of some distinction), Art of Noise, Alison Moyet, Nena, CCCP, Dead or Alive, Edie Brickell, Escape Club (heading for the 90's man!), Expose, Fine Young Cannibals, T'Pau, Taco, Gang of Four, Swing Out Sister, Talk Talk, The Cult, The Cure, The Human League, Joan Jett, Timbuk 3 (hometown musicians made good), The Timelords/KLF (anyone else watching the new Dr. Who episodes SciFi is featuring?), Trans-X, Killing Joke, When in Rome (saw them at Curfew along with another group whose name escapes me at the moment), Yello (shades of Ferris Bueller), Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam, Love and Rockets, and so much more! Is this a deliberate effort to consume all my available time? ;-)

They also had Crazy by Icehouse and She's Like the Wind from Dirty Dancing on the list. Both of those certainly captured my reaction to Stacey's attraction and love for me in the late 80's. In fact, to a certain extent, they still do. I know why I need her, but am less clear what she gets out of this. I definitely think I got the best deal by far. :-) I've always been grateful she did choose me, even though it's always been a mystery to me.

And I see the have What's the Matter Here? by 10,000 Maniacs. That song struck very close to home at the time. On the more uplifting side, Stacey couldn't resist dancing any time she heard Like the Weather. But that song's not listed.

Lots of memories. And a huge timewaster. Thanks again.
