It is not actually "cogito ergo sum." The reality is much further from reality. If the government does not know that I exist, then I do not exist. It is a problem that we actually must have with you. If you do not exist, and I think I know you, but the government does not have you in existence, then I must not exist to the government. If I do not exist to the government, then I must not exist either. If I do not eixst and you do not exist then the world must be a great place! Think about that one and feel completely useless.
