There's a great article that we need to chew on over at Kingdom People.
If I were to ask you, "Do you believe that Jesus is God?" Many of you would reply, "Of course." But Trevin counters with a great question to "Is Jesus God?". His question is "Which God?" He states (and I agree) that most evangelical Christians, when sharing the Gospel, assume that Jesus’ identity is in question, while God’s isn’t. In other words, we think everyone basically agrees with us about who God is, and so all we must do is simply proclaim Jesus’ divine link to Him.
What we need to do is ask a different question.
The question we need to ask (ourselves before asking others) is this: "Is God Jesus?" Because when you see Jesus, you are seeing God…because God is Jesus. Jesus is the One who shows us who God is and what God is like.
You need to read it. It's short and concise…and something we need to digest.
