I am SO happy that you are reading this book! It has sky rocketed to my favorite, and I'm NOT a book person so that's saying a lot.
I definitely think that dudes should check it out because it does translate, if you can get over the girl-ism occasionally. And these are basic things that EVERYONE has dealt with... who hasn't seen their alley way more times than they would like to admit?
Jan's perspective on Manna literally has changed my outlook on the world, daily life, how much God loves me and how much he wants to give me and does give me on the daily.
My book is all marked up like crazy, one of my favorites off the top of my head:
"Faith is memory of the past, Hope is memory of the Future."
I'm so lucky to have a GREAT friend like Stefanie who saw my alley way, understood and threw this book at me. Why do y'all think we are so close... we spent the summer doing some crazy painful, NECESSARY digging together.
Gotta get back to looking for some "manna in the modern"!
