My allergies are killing me. I can’t breathe. I can’t sing. I can’t talk. I sound like a 70-year-old man who’s been smoking cigars for 69 years, 11 months, and 29 days….kind of like Louis Armstrong. Which got me to thinking about some of the great quotes collected on cigars:

I must be on snob when it comes to cigars, I have only smoked three in my life, but all cost over $20 and they all were as Spurgeon says, something to thank God for.
I find the smell of pipe tobacco smoke to the most enjoyable, but never have gotten the courage to buy a pipe and smoke it. I have often wanted to buy the tobacco, put it into an ash tray and light it just for the joy of the smell. I love pipe tobacco smoke as it wafes up into the air filling the entirety of the space with its fragrant aroma. God made some things for us just for pleasure. I fine cigar, a warm blanket, a roaring fire and a 16 oz. New York Strip steak cooked medium rare. You do not even need A1 for that.

ahhh…but you can’t forget the aspect of sharing a 16oz medium-rare steak with your CastMaster buddy in east Texas…good times.
