I don't make any claims to understand the whole text. It's a pretty strange one in places. (You should read a bible with the Maccabees in it. Now there's a family!) But I never grow tired of its narrative, even when I'm not sure what it means. And there's something else in there somewhere. What was it, again? Oh, I remember….
